2011 England riots

6th Aug 2011, a local person who name is Mark Duggan, was shot dead by police in Tottenham London. And then most of people talking about this thing in the face book and twitter use a lot of inflammatory words, make great number of young people and minority ethnic groups are Take Street to protests. with the most rioting taking place in Hackney, Brixton, Chingford, Walthamstow, Peckham, Enfield, Battersea, Croydon, Ealing, and East Ham, Oxford Circus. From 8 until 10 August, and other cities include Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester, along with several towns. this events also called "BlackBerry riots" because these people through blackberry contact each other and got the police information’s. At 15th August, about 3,100 people had been arrested, of whom more than 1,000 had been charged. An estimated £200 million worth of property damage was incurred, and local economic activity was significantly compromised.

I think have three reasons leaded to the event. Firstly, the police cannot have good effective reaction for this event, and secondly, the police not have enough police constables to deal with this issue. Lastly, the main reason is the UK economy is not good currently, and most of young people lost his job, and government not has enough money to guarantee their life. So the young people think not have right status in the society, and want to use the protest to let government know their wishing.
